Pick your traffic, then pick your tier

Pageviews and custom events, added together. One page load counts, one more each time a single-page app changes route, and every custom event you send — outbound link clicks, downloads, form submissions and 404s included. Bots and AI crawlers are filtered out before counting, so you are never billed for those.

If you instrument heavily, work the event volume out before you pick a rung.

30 days on the plan you pick. A card is taken up front and charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel first. You get the tier you picked, in full, for the whole thirty days.

There is no free plan underneath it. On day thirty-one the trial becomes the plan you chose unless you have cancelled, which takes one click and costs nothing.

No — prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT. Where VAT applies it is added at checkout, and you can enter a business VAT number there.

If you are a business in the UK or the EU, put your VAT number in at the card screen. A valid number outside our own country reverse-charges the VAT to zero, so you are not paying it and then reclaiming it.

Outside the UK and EU, whether anything is added depends on where you are; Stripe works it out from your billing address and shows the total before you confirm.

If you cancel before the trial ends, the card is never charged. If you cancel a paid subscription, you keep the dashboard until the period you have already paid for runs out.

After that the account is locked, and that word means one specific thing: the dashboard closes. Collection does not stop and nothing is deleted. The script on your site keeps recording, your history stays where it is, and paying again opens all of it back up. We are not going to hold a gap in your data over you as a retention tactic.

Nothing stops. We keep collecting and your dashboard keeps working. If you are over for 3 consecutive months, we move you up to the rung that fits — pro-rated, with 14 days' notice and one click to decline.

Going over is not a fault and we do not treat it as one. Nothing is switched off, nothing is deleted, and there is no hole left in your data while it is sorted out.

Sites and team members are both 1 / 3 / 10 by tier, and they belong to the tier rather than to your traffic — moving up a volume rung never changes either.

Team members are real accounts with their own sign-in and their own role, not a shared password or a read-only link passed around.

15 months on every plan, which is a full year with a quarter of margin either side of it — enough for a year-on-year comparison and the run-up to it. Inside that window nothing is sampled and nothing is rolled up into something coarser as it ages — a day from last autumn answers exactly the same questions as yesterday. Past it, your numbers stop being readable rather than being approximated, which we would rather tell you than quietly blur.

Business. Funnels, user journeys, custom properties, ecommerce revenue and the Stats API are all on Business. Growth adds shared and embedded public dashboards over Starter, plus heatmaps. Everything listed under "on every plan" above is on all three.
